For
flight training Island Air makes use of a Cessna based fleet of
2 seat 150's and 4 seat 172's and our New!
Cessna 182 with a glass cockpit. The use of a Cessna
based fleet for flight training is common throughout the world.
With over 40 years in service Cessna aircraft have proven to still
be the safest and most economical single engine aircraft around.
For
both twin engine flight training and charter operations Island Air
makes use of 2 Piper PA23 Aztecs, and 1 Seneca 2. These aircraft
are full IFR equipped and certified for known icing conditions.
Aztecs are common in charter operations due to their reliability
and unparalleled useful load. Thus when training in these aircraft
you will be sure to receive valuable experience that general aviation
operators are looking for. |
