Requirements:

  • Minimum of 50 hours cross-country pilot-in-command time
  • 40 hours instrument time of which a maximum of 20 hours may be done in an approved flight simulator like our Elite 8.0 simulator

The 40 hours of instrument flying time shall include:

  • 100nm cross-country flight in actual or simulated IFR conditions with approaches to minima at two (2) separate locations
  • Written exam - 70% pass mark
  • Practical flight test
